Here are a few of the criminal law stories that occurred around the state of Alabama this past week:
- A woman was held up at gunpoint in the Mountain Brook/Birmingham Whole Foods parking lot around 3 p.m. this past Monday afternoon. Though there were no injuries, police are concerned with this being the second Mountain Brook robbery in three days.
- Police have arrested another suspect allegedly connected to the shooting death of two Huntsville teens. No additional information has been released, but police expect to make more arrests during the investigation.
- Two men have been arrested and charged with trafficking meth in Etowah County. Authorities who searched the suspects’ vehicle found approximately 43 grams of meth, a bag of marijuana, suboxone strips, a glass pipe with residue, a .38 caliber revolver and a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.
