- Two suspects in the shooting death of Hoover resident and Iraqi War veteran, Mike Gilotti, have been indicted for murder as well as nine charges each of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle. Police believe four people were present at the time of the shooting.
- Over the past week, Pell City Police have arrested and charged two men with drug possession. 71-year-old James Bailey was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct, menacing, and resisting arrest. 26-year-old Michael Mills was charged with drug trafficking and receiving stolen property.
- Authorities are continuing to investigate a Greenetrack shooting in Greene County that left one man dead and two injured.
