- Tuesday, December 17th authorities announced a search for Adam Isom. Wanted on charges of capital murder, attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied building. The deadly shooting took the life of Cheri Twilley, a mother of six adult children. Birmingham homicide detectives are warning people that Isom is “armed and dangerous,” contact them with any information.
- Alabama and Tennessee authorities arrested James and Taylor Adkins and Daniel Germany on a shoplifting ring. The trio resold fraudulent purchased toys from Walmart on an eBay business called The 7 Towers. The investigation is ongoing and similar crimes in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia are suspected.
- Birmingham man charged with traveling to Rome for sex with a teenager. Floyd County Jail charged the man with electronic enticement of a child, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal attempt of child molestation, possession of controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
