Alabama Criminal Law Round-Up, Week of December 15th - The Law Office of J.D. Lloyd, LLC

Tuesday, December 17th authorities announced a search for Adam Isom. Wanted on charges of capital murder, attempted murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied building. The deadly shooting took the life of Cheri Twilley, a mother of six adult children. Birmingham homicide detectives are warning people that Isom is “armed and dangerous,” contact them with any information.
Alabama and Tennessee authorities arrested James and Taylor Adkins and Daniel Germany on a shoplifting ring. The trio resold fraudulent purchased toys from Walmart on an eBay business called The 7 Towers. The investigation is ongoing and similar crimes in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia are suspected.
Birmingham man charged with traveling to Rome for sex with a teenager. Floyd County Jail charged the man with electronic enticement of a child, obscene internet contact with a child, sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal attempt of child molestation, possession of controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
