Criminal law stories that have recently occurred around the state of Alabama:
- 31-year-old Megan Montgomery was found shot to death in the parking lot of the Mountain Brook Athletic Complex on Sunday, December 1st. Former Hoover police officer, Jason Bragg McIntosh, 45, was arrested Wednesday, December 4th with capital murder chargers. The two had been married in 2018 and separated in 2019 after a troubled relationship documented by court records.
- Parole denied for Vondole Parker, Frank Everett Rowe, Joshua Tyler Phillips, Joshua Lynn Wilcutt, and Levert Antwun Jefferson. All were violent Alabama offenders.
- On Tuesday, December 3rd, two men were fatally shot in Phenix City in a known drug distribution place. According to police, the two were in the process of robbing the residence where the shooting occurred.
